Precast Frame Project at Sherriff’s Gate Worcester

Truly fantastic work being carried out on O’Reilly Precast’s latest Precast Frame Project at Sherriff’s Gate in Worcester.

When completed, the project will boast a total of 498 Apartments, a Hotel, Restaurant & Leisure Facilities.

Thanks to the hard work of our fitting crew, A total of 47 loads of Precast Concrete Walls, Floors & Stairs have been supplied & installed in just 5 days.

Work began in this summer of the multimillion-pound development at Sherriff’s Gate in Worcester. Plans include 2 apartment blocks of 468 apartments, including two and three-bedroom homes that will be home to over 1,000 people, a hotel, restaurants and other leisure facilities.

O’Reilly Precast are supplying the precast concrete products to both Block A and B of the apartment development for this precast frame project.

Attending UK Construction Week 2022 in Birmingham’s NEC

We had an enjoyable and successful few days at the UK Construction Week 2022 show in Birmingham last week. Our team spent 3 days showcasing our precast concrete products along with our new architectural brick-faced wall panels. It was a pleasure to meet you all!

UK Construction Week (UKCW), is a multi award winning trade show that will return to Birmingham’s NEC, delivering the UK’s largest event for the built environment on 3-5 October 2023.

UKCW Birmingham consists of core sections and co-located shows and conferences, tailored for the essential phases of construction, acting as an umbrella dedicated to all professionals within the sector.

About UK Construction Week 2022.

The NEC in Birmingham was the birthplace of UK Construction Week in 2015 and the tradeshow has grown to become the UK’s largest built environment event, held annually in the first week of October.

The halls of the NEC have been the key destination for the past 7 years for all in the construction industry, with 1000’s of international exhibitors showcasing 1000s of innovative products, materials and services and many more to come for our 100,000+ visitors.

Top speakers are on the panel in the many seminar theatres to discuss and debates the issues affecting construction.

Incredible show features are a staple from the past and will continue to be, we have had wellbeing areas, an Innovation Zone, many tools and robotics demonstrations, and even a house being built inside the venue.

The October 2023 show will once again be a key destination.

Full Precast Frame for Data Centre

In 2020 O’Reilly Concrete designed the full precast frame for data centre, Iron Mountain in Frankfurt, Germany. It was a pleasure to design, manufacture and install the full precast frame for this development for Collen Construction.

Iron Mountain Data Centre, Frankfurt is a purpose-built data centre with 27 MW of power capacity in a 36,040 M2 facility. The campus is located near central Frankfurt in Germany and offers a hybrid IT environment, a centre for data change and a centre for consolidating.

Construction of this hyperscale data centre project began in April 2020 and was completed within a 26-week period.

Final Precast Floor for Mosaic Place

O’Reilly Concrete were contracted by London Building Company to design, manufacture and build the precast frame for the South Site building in Purley, London.

This building is part of an exciting apartment development, Mosaic Place, in the heart of Purley, South London. Planning approval was given for this regeneration development in July 2020.

Final Precast Floor Stage

We are now on the final precast floor stage of the Mosaic Place Apartment Development in the heart of Purley, London.
The full development is an 11,354sqm mixed-use development.

This 8-storey residential scheme will provide 220 homes, 39 of which are affordable.

We look forward to seeing the finished product.

The final precast floor stage

The flooring panels were manufactured off-site and transported to the construction site for installation. Once on-site, the panels were lifted and placed onto the building’s supporting structure, providing a strong and durable floor. The final precast floor stage is generally the last stage of construction before the building’s roof is installed. This stage is critical in ensuring that the building’s structure is complete, allowing for the installation of interior finishes and other building systems to take place.

The use of our precast concrete flooring panels in the final stage of construction has offered numerous benefits, such as reduced construction time, increased quality control, and improved safety on the construction site.
